The procedure is a cosmetic tattoo and takes 1 hour to do the procedure and 1 hour for numbing, so 2 hours total. I use numbing between each pass so it's as comfortable as it can be. The appointment starts by discussing your desired goal and choosing the colour. The colour is then gently added to your lips through micro-pigmentation and creates a build up of pigment for long lasting results. 

The results lasts up to 3 years without a colour refresher, based on your skin cell turnover rate and your lifestyle habits. For example, if you go out in the sun without SPF protection, your results will fade faster.

Yearly touch ups are necessary to prevent colour from fading and helps the colour become refreshed. We can also alter the colour if you want it lighter or darker, pinker, redder, etc. 

It is permanent with colour refreshers. 

*IF YOU'RE PRONE TO COLD SORES, TAKE ANTIVIRAL MEDICATION 5 DAYS BEFORE, DAY OF, AND 5 DAYS AFTER PROCEDURE. ASK YOUR DOCTOR ABOUT IT. 

Use a lip scrub made from sugar and any kind of oil, such as coconut. Keep lips moisturized until the appointment. 

Also bring your favourite lipstick and/or pic of desired results on your phone. You can also send the pictures to me before the appointment. 

We carefully select a shade that will heal beautifully and look natural on you.

If your lips are lighter, we’ll use your inspiration photos and the lip colours you typically wear as a guide.

If your lips are darker and require neutralization, we usually match the tone to the natural pink of your inner lip. We’ll also refer to your inspiration photos and your favorite lipsticks or glosses to help guide the choice.

During your appointment, we’ll discuss your desired look and the shades you love most, then choose the perfect colour together to ensure you feel confident and happy with the result. 💕

To get the results you want, 2 sessions are needed (sometimes more depending on the case). The first session builds the initial colour layer, but during healing the skin release 50% of the pigment. The second session perfects the tone, fills in any areas that faded unevenly, and ensures long-lasting, even results. 

You can book the second appointment for lip blush/lip neutralization/scar+stretchmark camo in 6-12 weeks.

Eyebrows can be touched up after 4 weeks. 

For lip neutralization, book your appointment after you see the pigment start to show after healing. This is about 6 weeks after. 

If orange is used, orange always heals pink in dark & cool toned lips. It's used to warm up cool bluish/purple tones and to neutralize hyperpigmentation. Orange + Brown= NATURAL PINK :)
